Brave New Doodle!!!
I am pleased to announce that Noelle Doodle has taken the plunge!!! I have quit my full time job in order to throw all of my efforts into Noelle Doodle. The decision wasn't easy, and I'm definately a little scared about finances to say the least, but my life has never been determined by making "safe" decisions. When I decided to move to Portland I did so within 6 weeks. It was probably one of the best decisions I ever made, and one that led me to even think of creating Noelle Doodle. So I feel it's about time for another "crazy" plunge. I feel the time is right and I'm really excited about the possibilities. So cross your fingers for me. I can't wait to get started.

Handmade NW First Thursday
I'm excited to participate in my first event with Handmade NW and my first First Thursday. Whew that's a lot of firsts. So if you're in the Portland area come on down to the Lovejoy Car Company on NW 17th (between Marshall and Lovejoy) and say hi to myself and my crafty comrades. I'll be debuting my new giraffe design (possible pics to follow if it doesn't sell tonight).

Doodle Pics 6/19
Greetings Readers! Time again for my weekly installment of Doodle Pics! This week's features the creative workshop of Joe at Geek Gear. These creations are simply ingenious, turning junk that would end up in a landfill, into neato and functional items for your home and office. I picked up this little gem the other day for my dad:

This is a miracle in itself, due to the fact that my dad is IMPOSSIBLE to shop for; but I think he's really gonna like this pen cup (especially once I load it full of sharpies).
Check out the Geek Gear etsy shop to see more fabulous creations.

I am excited to announce my entry into the Mortal Plush show. The theme is "Emotion" and I'm crossing my fuzzy paws that I get in. I submitted my little Yeti named Sven. I think he's a perfect conveyance of Anxiety. Plus he's probally one of my favorite litte friends I have made yet(i) HA!!! Also, if you're a fellow plush maker I urge you to sign up. The deadline has been extended to Friday June 19th. Go here for more info.

Doodle Pics 6/5
Hello Readers! In an effort to spotlight some of my favorite fellow crafters I bring you....DOODLE PICS!!!!!!!!
First up for this series will be Gloi Locks and Body, a Portland soap maker I discovered at my last Crafty Wonderland. Besides being absolutely beautiful, these soaps are probably the best smelling local handmade soap I have ever experienced. And they go for a great price as well. Be sure to check out their shop:

Crafty Wonderland This Weekend.

I've been hard at work for my second installment of Crafty Wonderland this weekend. I have some great new designs for Sunday's show including a pretty spectacular Turtle (photos to come). I'm also really excited to check out their new "surprise machine" a gum ball machine where you can get a crafty treat for only 50 cents.
This is also a great way to spend the day with your mom. Mine will be hard at work with me behind my booth.
